In order for the player to aim the ball in the direction that they would like it to go, they must hold their finger to the targeting indicator (left image) and slide it in any direction they would like (preferably towards the hole). The hole is indicated by the flag icon on the map. The guideline will give the player a rough estimate of the path the ball will travel when swinging with full power. Note that the guideline DOES NOT take into account the wind which has a significant influence on the speed and direction of the ball.

Would someone, please, please, address the wind issue, so we don't have to guesstimate our aim in a 3mph crosswind that blows the golf ball 30, or 40, or 50 feet off course. Are you serious? Puhleez!
