[4] - GAMEPLAY:Match Outcomes

A match will either end in a victory, a defeat, or a draw.

• Victory : A player achieves victory after sinking their ball into the hole in one less stroke than their opponent given equal turns. The victor will be awarded with a certain number of coins and trophies corresponding to that stage. A card pack is often awarded to the victor as well.

• Defeat : A player is defeated if their opponent sinks their ball into the hole in one less stroke than the player given equal turns. A defeated player will not receive any prize, nor will they recover their entry fee (on some occasions a prompt will appear allowing the player to recover their entry fee upon watching an ad). Also, the defeated player loses a number of trophies corresponding to that stage.

• Draw : A match goes to a draw when both players sink their ball into the hole in the same number of strokes given equal turns. To decide the victor, a player must land his ball as close to the hole as possible in one shot. The player whose ball ends up closest to the hole is declared the winner.
